Our Mission
Through the grace of Jesus, our creative educational program assists children with their full developmental growth.
Little Pilgrims Preschool admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.

Our facility is located on the South Hill in Puyallup, Washington. We are easily accessible from Meridian Ave. East. We offer a clean, safe environment for all of our students. Our facility offers an indoor play area, outdoor fenced play yard, and a large play field.
About the program
We are dedicated in providing the best possible Christian education for young children. Our curriculum is designed to:
- Encourage the joy of learning through creative art, games, science, nature, music, and cooking
- Stimulate intellectual growth through hands-on and discovery learning
- Develop large and small muscle coordination
- Promote sharing and healthy social interaction through group activities
- Provide field trips and special events with parent participation
- Help students to be academically and emotionally ready for the Kindergarten arena
- Extended class students will be given additional opportunities in math, science and reading.
- Nurture faith and love of God

Enrollment Questions
Class Schedule
- Your child must turn 3 by August 31 and be fully toilet trained.
- Preschool starts one week after Puyallup Schools begin in the fall and continues to the end of May. We follow the Puyallup School District schedule for holidays, in-service days, and snow days.
Preschool—3 & 4 year old Class
Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Pre-Kindergarten—4 & 5 year old Class
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9:00-11:30 a.m.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Extended Pre-Kindergarten
Monday – Friday from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Tuition Schedule
- Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.
- Enrollment of more than one child from a family, receives a 5% discount on tuition
- Full year payment receives a 5% discount
- Monthly tuition is an average of all the school days for the entire nine months, September through May. It takes into consideration school holidays, in-service days, and 5-week months.

- Registration Fee $100.00 (Non-refundable)
- Supply Fee $50.00 (Non-refundable)
- Preschool Class (2 days/wk) $180.00/month
- Pre-Kindergarten Classes (3 days/wk) $210.00/month
- Pre-K Extended Class (5 days/wk) $345.00/month
Pay Tuition Online
Online payments include a small processing fee.
LPP Staff
Our teachers are experienced in early childhood development, Christian by faith, affirmation, and example, and have CPR and First Aid trained. Our entire staff is caring and nurturing to all students.
Jenee Muench, Director
Jenee is a longtime member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and joined the staff at Little Pilgrims Preschool in 2017, becoming Director in 2020.
After working many years in the Occupational & Physical Therapy medical field she was excited to come back to her love of working with children.
Jenee and husband Chris have 2 sons, whose activities keep her extremely busy. When she’s not running them around everywhere, she loves to craft, garden, read and drink coffee.
Erin Pedersen, Teacher
Erin loves teaching preschool at Little Pilgrims and enjoys coming to work to see her students every day.
Erin was baptized into the Pilgrim Lutheran Church family as an infant. She had her first communion in 5th grade and was confirmed in 9th grade.
Erin has 4 nieces and 2 nephews she has helped take care of throughout the years.
Amy Leal, Teacher
Amy joined the Little Pilgrims Preschool staff in the fall of 2019. She has a B.S. in psychology as well as a paralegal certificate. Amy has previously worked as a paralegal and with children in inpatient psychiatric treatment.
Amy is married with two daughters, ages 15 and 6, both graduates of Little Pilgrims. Her hobbies include reading and helping coach her younger daughter’s soccer team.
