Communion
The Apostle Paul, says of Holy Communion, “The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread. (1 Co. 10:16-17)
Holy Communion is our community meal, shared together, by which we celebrate our unity as people of God. This meal nourishes us in the life Jesus has given through his body and blood. Jesus, as host of this meal, and with arms outstretched, assures each of us, “There is a place for you. You are always welcome.”
If you have never received Holy Communion, or would like to know more about this meal, we would love to talk with you. Please call the office at (253) 848-3680, or email at office@pilgrimpuyallup.org.
