Care & Outreach

A family that operates the way God intends cares for one another in the home and actively reaches out to the neighborhood.  Our goal is to do the same at Pilgrim Lutheran Church.  We know each family–each person–experiences both amazing and challenging circumstances in life.  That said, our goal is to be that “church family” for you.  Whether you have been a member for years, visited last Sunday, or connect via one of our community partners we look forward to connecting with you!   Rachelle Lessard is in charge of these ministry areas and would love to hear from you.  Please contact her or take a moment to stop by the church office.

Circle of Welcome

This year we have started a journey with Celebration Lutheran Church, Creator Lutheran Church, and Lutheran Community Services. In May, we went through the training and when we get the call, we will be walking alongside of a new refugee family from the time they get off the plane, through getting an apartment, getting services, finding work, etc.
If you are interested in being a part of the circle, contact Rachelle Lessard for more information.

Community Connections

Whether individually or as the body of Christ, we strive to make God real and visible through working with the Puyallup Food Bank, our Holiday Basket Program, our partnership with Firgrove Elementary School, our Weekend of Service, Freezing Nights, serving at New Hope Resource Center and more. For more information on how you can get involved, please contact Rachelle Lessard.
