A family that operates the way God intends cares for one another in the home and actively reaches out to the neighborhood. Our goal is to do the same at Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
We know each family–each person–experiences both amazing and challenging circumstances in life. That said, our goal is to be that “church family” for you. Whether you have been a member for years, visited last Sunday, or connect via one of our community partners we look forward to connecting with you!
Heidi Mitchell is in charge of these ministry areas and would love to hear from you.
There are many ways the congregation can care for each other. Whether it’s delivering a meal, helping with yard work, giving a ride, joining the card writing ministry, or meeting other needs, care for each other is what makes our community thrive.
Pilgrim provides meals to clients at New Hope Resource center on the 2nd and 4th Mondays. More hands are always welcome!
Pilgrim provides Buddy Backpacks (bags of weekend food) for kids at Firgrove and Hunt Elementary Schools. We also partner with the schools through out the year to provide extra resources as necessary. We are always accepting donations of macaroni and cheese, oatmeal packets, breakfast bars, fruit pouches, and snacks. Or CLICK HERE to shop our Amazon Wishlist!
During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, we work together to provide food and gifts to families in our community.
An outreach of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, our community garden offers plots designated solely for growing produce for local food banks, as well as plots for members and the community.
